The Anglo Platinum bursary covers the following:

• Full tertiary registration and tuition costs
• Residence fees or, if the bursar chooses to live privately, a generous living out allowance
• Book allowance
• A very generous personal allowance for the period that the bursar is at the tertiary institution
• A one-off computer allowance which is made available to students who are in their second year of study
• Medical and death benefit cover
• 14 days paid time off per annum
• Reimbursement for travelling costs incurred by bursars when they travel to sites for practical work and back to the tertiary institution

It is a bursary condition that University-based bursars are required to work eight week's vacation work at one of the Company's sites. Technikon-based bursars are required to undergo their University of Technology (previously Technikon) Experiential Training at one of the Company's sites. Allowances are paid to bursars for any period of practical training that bursars undertake. In addition, board and lodging are provided at a nominal rate.
